Willy is a mature big teddy bear type of gelding.  He has a beautiful head and kind eyes.  He will go anywhere you ask him and has a great gait. 

I found Willy on the trail ride in the Shawnee National Forest and bought him from his original owner/breeder.  It is always a bonus to find a gorgeous black and white that also has everything.  Gentle as a lamb and in your back pocket.  Sometimes when I turn him out and take off the halter he tries to follow me back to the barn.  This horse also has common sense and will go through everything you ask with ease.

We are in the heart of quarter horse country here in Colorado and most every buyer wants a muscled up chunky horse.  Take a good look at Patriot and he is a super easy keeper.  Patriot will lead, ride in the middle walk slow and gait out nicely with his run walk. 

I recently rode him for three days in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois.  It was cold and super muddy after several weeks of rain.  Patriot really has common sense in deep, slick, steep mud and rocks.  Several times we had to lead when the other older horses would not go into the river or through the rocks.  He never made a bobble the entire ride.   Back there they call some of the rugged trails ‘pig paths’ and Patriot and I just rode like it was a dry trail.

Jake is very willing and quiet. He has a smooth saddle gait and can move out pretty fast when asked.  Jake has a great canter.  He also has the cutest ears I have ever seen - - from the saddle they look like a fawn’s back with little spots. 

He learns fast and retains well. Jake will make a great partner for most any rider and he is stout enough to carry a large person as well.  He has very nice muscling and is an easy keeper.
